*We could interview black African American women that attend the University and first explain to them what the black beauty myth is. Then ask them their opinion on the black beauty myth and if it applies to them and how they feel. This would give us a sense of whether this myth is still true for our era.
*We could also interview a variety of people that are of a different race and gender and ask them what they recognize as personal privileges. This will be related to the topic we discussed about privileges and it will show us whether or not we are oblivious to our own personal privileges.
I like both of these ideas. I think that both would be great for the project. But with both concepts, I think that we should make sure that while interviewing, we should first ask each person's perception of the beauty myth and/or personal privileges, and then acquire each person's personal opinions of each idea.
I really like both of those ideas! I agree with Victoria, I think that we should ask them what they think first about it both of the concepts. I think both ideas could be incorporated into our project and would be relevant to what we have been studying in class. Good Ideas!!!

To me I think doing the project on privilege would be more interesting because we would interview many types of people since their are so many types of personal privileges. I agree with Victoria however whichever we choose we should ask people's perception on the subject first. I really do like both ideas though! Can't wait to start on it Monday!

Group Two! This is a great project proposal...and I think it is fantastic you are tackling "Privilege". My only input would be to perhaps utilize the various Privilege Checklists from class...perhaps selecting 5 or so entries from each to print and show your interviewees to get them to think more on the issues. Nice work and good luck!
